Leaving Animals Out of the Cosmetics Picture. By: Abby Ellin

There are many ways in which human's behavior cause damage to an animals' life. Testing cosmetics and other products on animals is one of them. In order to fight against this problem, The New York Times published an article written by Abby Ellin in which she explain the importance of animal-free testing by toiletries and another cosmetic products. In her article, Ellin propose to follow and support the different organizations that have decided to stop the old and cruel practice of testing their cosmetic products on animals. Besides, she said that those companies run campaigns to promote the animal-free testing; one of the main ideas that those organizations (and the author) stand up for is to persuade more people to use (and more companies to produce) makeup and toiletries that have not been tested on rabbits, guinea pigs, mice or rats.
 Peta's campaing against Animal-tested cosmetics
After having read the article, we felt satisfied with the changes that some organizations have achieved in order to stop this type of animals abuse in which cosmetics or some other products are tested on homeless creatures. We are glad to know that important companies are turning green and they are changing their products’ ingredients and how they test it,

Is important to analyze and to find solutions because we cannot allow that those animals are traded as toys.
